To start off I'd like to say that I'm very impressed with the season this year. Everyone played well and maybe everyone learned something new.
Secondly, I'd like to list a few up coming events that I think Memphis Ultimate should be at: (if not already there)
The 11th Annual Chad Lewis "Get Grubby" Memorial Tournament in Jonesboro - Aug 13th - Information is attached
I think we already have three teams going but if there is enough interest I could captain a fourth. just let me know and I'll put the appropriate things in motion.
The 21st Harvest Moon Tournament in Fayetteville. Nov 5&6 - If interested please let me know and we can orchestrate something with everyone. DISClaimer-I will hurt people who show interest and then bail.
These are some close events that I think everyone could enjoy.
Next, I'd like to say something about the Jonesboro Fall League: Starts Sept 27th: It is held Tuesday nights @ Miles Field on the ASU campus. It is 20.00 and you get a Tee! Boom, just got real. WE can carpool from downtown and it is only an hour over there.
Myself and my brother will be going this season and I'd like to get some more people to go over and support.

On another note we are going to implement the new website.
This should ease the registration project and make sure everyone gets drafted, jerseys, etc.
My goal for next year is to research jersey vendors as well as provide discs next year. (because frankly everyone should have a disc)
Also for next year I'd like to push to introduce at least 20 new people to the sport. Let's get some friends and have some fun!
Also I'd like any cool photos of Memphis Ultimate affiliates playing, cheering, heckling, etc.
B Yang I saw you out there yesterday snapping photos! We can put these up on the website and maybe draw some noobs in.
Thanks again for everyone who helped out this season and to the awesome captains for leaving it all on the fields.
