Join us this Thursday evening, August 25th, for the Ladies Shop Hop. Ten participating businesses in downtown Mebane will treat you to a variety of refreshments, special events and sales, as well as, evening dinner and drink specials. All events take place within easy walking distance.
A gift awaits you if you are one of the first 300 shoppers to visit at least 6 participating businesses shown below and a stamp to prove your visit is available at each location.
Your in for a fun night at Melville Trading Company. Here are just a few of the special things happening.
Our new local celebrity, Rick Smith, will be in. Rick is the author of Change For A Dollar, the history of Mebane and 1st Saving of Mebane. Rick will be signing his book from 6:30 to 9. All the proceeds from book sales go to the Mebane Museum. If your a native Mebanite I'm sure you'd love reading about people and events you know. If you're new to the area is a wonderful way to learn about our little town!
Penny Hawkins with The Carolina Gourmet is having a food tasting of her products. If you haven't tried them your in for a treat! Penny is donating ALL the proceeds of her sales during the Shop Hop to Loaves and Fishes, our local food bank. Also, if you bring 3 non perishable canned goods or make a monetary donation of at least $5 you will receive a free gift while supplies last.
Many other vendors at Melville will be offering drawing for merchandise and lots of SALES!
