Opening Reception and Meet the Artists
Farms and Fairs: Two Perspectives
Featuring the works of Nancy Ross Cheeseman and Anna Kipp Waddell
QUIRKS
Join us at Quirks for a beautiful hand-drawn henna "tattoo" while you enjoy our homemade Sangria from a paper cup! Local artist Leigh Ann Johnson does some of the most beautiful designs we have ever seen, and she does them completely free-hand in her own recipe of natural henna with essential oils. Perfectly lovely, and you get to enjoy your design (and the compliments) for several days! Also, 10% off of any framed artwork marked dealer "Q" for "Quirks". (This special runs only during First Thursday festivities September 6, 2012 from 5pm until 9pm.)

ROSIE'S MERCANTILE
Sample yummy appetizers from the Robert Rothschild Farm collection, a Rosie's specialty, and watch as guest artist Donna Vertefeuilee creates birdfeeders out of old bottles, old bowls, pots, and even collanders. Also, be sure to look at Donna's beautiful hummingbird feeders on display. Special orders will be taken during First Thursday!
MELVILLE TRADING COMPANY
Enjoy refreshments while strolling the aisles at Melville Trading Company. Jo Westbrook, our favorite local watercolor artist will be here showing her beautiful artwork. Come chat with Jo and find out about her inspiration and techniques.
KARMA ON THIRD
Enter our drawing for a chance to win one of Karma's specialty sandwiches and a drink, artistically crafted by Chef Sherry. While at Karma, don't miss the 10% off sale on our handcrafted bracelets, which are made by artists in India.
REED'S DOWNTOWN TABLE
Reed's Downtown Table will be raffling off an original piece of art by local artist, Celine Meador! Winner's name will be drawn at 8 pm at Reed's. Stop by for a coffee, some cupcakes, and your chance to win a beautiful original painting!
