Hello;

I'm writing a script to automatically run an NPR report and download the
results into a CSV.

90% of the time when I run the script I get "Disk Error. Bad Allocate
251."

I've searched the Meditech KB and can't find what this error mean.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Some time ago, I found that (at least on older version of the Meditech
workstation) you would get this error if trying to download too far down
the subdirectory tree. I have gotten into the habit of downloading to
C:\ and then moving if necessary to the desired folder. I've not seen
that message in a long time, using this process. (Generally the
download is temporary anyway, and gets deleted soon after its use.)

I've also gotten this error if I am downloading the file to a drive that
is not accessible. For instance, the report is downloaded to a folder
on a local computer and the report is run from a different terminal, or
the network drive is unavailable when the report is ran.

You're a Magic shop no doubt...it's because you're saving the file as a
"re-save" of the same name - give it a new file name and it should work.
I usually add an underscore-2 (******_2.csv), etc.

Hope that helps - later.

I thought you got an error like this when you tried to save over the top
of a file (such as it sounds like you may be doing with your script) and
the previous saved copy of file was already open (or not properly
closed) by another application???
