We are a Meditech Client Server 5.67 pp2 site and have interfaces to and from Healogics I-heal. We are currently sending ADT to I-heal. The report that is generated in Iheal is then coldfed (SCA) back into Meditech via the Interface Engine which then sends it to the EMR and ELR. We looked at Charges, but have not implemented.

We are a magic site looking for a site who has successfully interfaced with I-heal or healogics wound care system.
We have the ability to interface using Summitt.

Hi Nancy,
I've used both Objectif Lune's Planet Press and Form Fast in my career.
Planet Press lacks a GUI to select forms based on patients. The user can only print to a Planet Presss printer queue. However I find working with Planet Press less buggy (although I learned Planet Press first so I might be biased, and I again work with it). Both are good products in my opinion.
Thanks,

It's really not ideal. Our users go from the Big Board to Clinical Review, and from there the Reconcile Meds button requires no further input. I would love to save them the step though.

Good Afternoon,
We are in the process of building/implementing the ORM Module in Magic, 5.66.
We would like a button to launch the Med Rec from Big Board or in the Surgical record.
I created a custom function to launch Clinical Review and eMar and work fine, however when trying to launch Med Rec, in addition to adding the patient name (which we expect) the users are required to enter a Provider and Location. None of the other routines require the Provider/Location and it doesn?t make sense. I am using the DPM - RXM.ORD.process.med.rec.
Is anyone using a DPM that doesn?t require the Provider and Location?
Thanks much,

Good Morning,
We are a magic 567 hospital. We noticed after our upgrade, when physicians went into PCI to sign orders, there are two new categories: Unsigned Ambulatory orders and Unsigned prescriptions. We never had these categories before, and these orders are also in their Unsigned orders queue. Some of these orders go back years. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way I can remove these? It is causing much confusion for the physicians.
Thanks

Does anyone use patient portal to schedule appointments?
We allow our patients to view some appointments, but trying to work out allowing them to schedule.
We think it would be another selling point for patients if they could use it schedule appointments.
If your site is using, how is it working out for you and the patients?
If not using, why not?
We researched using it, but we do not use Meditech waitlist function in Scheduling.
We were concerned that we do not have the staff to watch and respond in a timely manner.
For sites that do use the waitlist function, do you have any issues with it? Is it worth using?
Many thanks in advance!

Subject: [MT-L] looking for sites that have interfaced with i-heal (healogics) wound care system
We are a magic site looking for a site who has successfully interfaced with I-heal or healogics wound care system.
We have the ability to interface using Summitt.

Subject: [MT-L] AMA CPT data file licensing
Meditech posted this notice on their website:
2016 CPT Data File Now Available (Nov 6, 2015 1446 EST) The American Medical Association (AMA) has announced the 2016 CPT data file is now available. As in prior years, your organization must license CPT directly from the AMA. We have recently been made aware that the AMA licensing process has changed and may require more time to complete. We recommend you contact the AMA as soon as possible to discuss. Further information can be obtained by contacting your AMA representative, the Unified Service Center at
(800) 621-8335 or visiting AMA's CPT Licensing Center<
http://goo.gl/BlbA7Q>.
I have completed basic information requested, but it looks like the AMA is requiring us to license many more "users" than in the past. Their FAQ states that the following functions should be included: Scheduling, registration, radiology, laboratory, surgery, ambulatory, HIM, CAC, finance, revenue cycle management, reimbursement. Chargemaster, contract management, claims management, data warehousing and CPOE (not an exhaustive list).
They want us to send them a list of the number of users in each of these departments.
What is everyone else doing?

Are any sites out there using the VOEMR ? (View only EMR) for planned and unplanned MEDITECH downtimes?
Meditech said they have 31 sites using it now and I would love to hear feedback.
Thanks in advance.

I am curious about the particulars as well.
We did see a demo at a Meditech conference a number of years ago. We inquired and were told that IBM servers were not supported at the time... probably the SAN. I'm a little foggy on the recollection.
Would appreciate an update.
Thanks,
Howard
