Hi,

Since going LIVE with 5.66.10 I've noticed several standard routines where a "No records found" prompt is presented to the user when applicable, and that no corresponding piece of paper is wasted with the same message.  Is anyone aware of whether this same functionality is available when it comes to scheduled jobs?

For years we've set up email off of jobs that people want run frequently (many as often as every 15 minutes), and set the job to a non-printing spool group.  That way we can email the user only when there are hits, and no paper goes to waste.  However, in some cases it would actually be preferable to print the report when there are hits, but we've always been hindered by the need for the scheduled job to resolve with a printing.  Does anyone know if this can now be done, and if so, how?

Thanks,
Jerry Beals

Jerry,

What version of Meditech are you? We’re Magic and I’ve been asking Meditech about 5.66 PP9 (now PP10) since March of this year, and they’re still telling me it’s not available for release. Were you a beta site/early adopter?
