[MEDITECH-L] attribute

Hello all

 

 I am looking for an attribute that will default the mnemonic and name of the person who is filing a CDS

 

Example:                             IS.GP          GINNY POULIN

 Query is:  Acknowleged by: ----------  ---------------------------

 

When I go past this field I would like it to fill in the mnemonic and the name automatically

I made the query a pointer query to the MIS.USER.DICT

 

Any help would be greatly apprecicated

I use this to default the user name and not allow the user to change it. This attribute is placed on query NURTEACH20. You will need to change it the name of your query.

 

 

This one defaults in the user's nurse type description (not the mnemonic) and doesn't allow the user to change it. This attribute is placed on query NURTEACH15. You will need to change it to the name of your query.

If you made your pointer query MIS.USER FIELD: mnemonic DISPLAY:
name

All you have to do for the attribute is use DFT=@.user on that query

Hello Ginny and L-ers,

 

I just built a Comment query type called NUR.RNSIGN and assigned this attribute to it:  

 

IFE=IF{P(R,S,IF{@p.MIS.USER.name[@.user]}

 

It seems to work fine for us.
