Hi,

Our hospital is interested in using a web-based patient portal that will
work with our existing hospital website. Does anyone have suggestions of
likes or dislikes that they have used or seen out there? I have seen
some in the past but always value those opinions on the meditech-L since
you are all using the products we run across.

Thanks again!
Sandi

Our hospital is in the process of developing a portal and information
exchange strategy. Over all the technology seems to be in its very infancy
and there seemed to be vendors and interfaces that have worked well and some
that have not worked very well. Unfortunately the clock is ticking with
meaningful use. We have not found a portal vendor that we have been please
satisfied with. I feel confident in saying that many the current vendors
will not be in business in a few years.
