Hi,

I am curious what approaches have sites live with EDM Nursing Documentation have taken to resolve the lack of co-sign function on the EDM eMar.

Are you primarily relying only on Pyxis/Omnicell medication dispensing machines as your only record of co-signature for mnemonics?

If you are live with C/S 5.6, Do you know if co-sign meds function has been added particularly since this functionality has been available on the inpatient nursing eMAR for several versions?

Thank you so much for your reply!! We are in the beginning process of nursing documentation in the ER and that lack of a co-sign is an obvious "big" issue.
Also, By linking to the PCS MAR- are you only documenting scheduled / narcotics medications in PCS eMAR and then all other medications are documented in the EDM eMAR?

|
|There is a custom go give you a PCS indicator that will allow you to link to PCS
|MAR which allows co-signing. Log an issue and they should be able to add it.
