When we implemented Meditech in July of 2004 we had an ELF Chip created for
the Payroll and AP Checks including the signatures. The chip was created for
an HP 4200n printer. 5 years later we are now in need of changing the
signatures only to find out the original company is out of business.

We have only a short window of opportunity to find a replacement. Does
anyone have any suggestions and/or words of wisdom? We have contacted Form
Fast, however they appear to be a bit pricy. We have also been given the
name RELYCO and are scheduling a demo. Any thoughts on either?

We are presently Meditech Magic 5.61 going to 5.63 in the 1st quarter.

Thank you in advance,

Eaton Rapids Medical Center

We use Form Fast for our checks. AP, Payroll, and Direct Deposit. It is very easy to use and the support is good.

Hi Mark,

We got a quote from Forms Fast, but as you say they are a bit pricey. We
already have a relationship with Access EForms and they have a Check
Printing Module so we are in the process of implementing that. You may
want to at least check them out, we have been very pleased.

We use Access E-Forms for our Checks, Direct Deposit, Patient Barcode
labels, and Admissions Packet. It was a bit difficult to initially setup
but once we got it all into place, no problems anymore. We are upgrading to
a newer version in the next couple of months as well. I believe we went
with their solution because it was less expensive than the other vendors.

We use Access eforms for all our checks (PP/AP), it was our first project around 3 years ago. We also use the forms software through-out the hospital.
Excellent support and very user-friendly setup.
