Health Care Applications Analyst
Saint Joseph Health Services of RI is seeking a qualified Health Care
Applications Analyst to support our PI department in the collection,
interpretation and analysis of our business and clinical performance.
Job Specifications:
Design, implement and maintain the analytical processes and reporting
products supporting the organizations understanding of its operational and
clinical performance. Perform ongoing assessment and maintenance of data
integrity throughout the department's data collection-to-reporting pipeline,
as well as implementation of new technologies. Develop and analyze
productivity measures to support business operations. Maintain and perform
analysis for corporate decision support. Assist in the development and
evaluation for ad-hoc studies/initiatives.
Position Requires:
2-4 years direct experience in working with health care data and performing
comprehensive drill-down analyses from both a clinical (diagnostic,
procedural, provider type), and business (network, market, risk type)
perspective within the managed care environment.
* Proven attention to detail and high level of organization and
accuracy.
* Experience in the health care industry and strong computing skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Web Developer
The Web Developer will assist in the review of existing web-based
applications and the development and deployment of new web-based applications
for Saint Joseph Health Services Intranet. The Web Developer will also be
responsible for documenting all efforts and interfacing with clients and
other project personnel.
Job Specifications:
* Develops and provides content for the organizations intranet web
site
* Identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions
* Manages the design, coding and testing of technical solutions
Position Requires:
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar field
* Experienced in development of web-based applications
* Competent in creation and usage of databases
* Good communication skills (written and verbal)
* Possesses working knowledge of at least one structured programming
language
* Exhibits proficiency in HTML and one scripting language
* Possesses basic knowledge of XML/XSL, HTML, JavaScript
* SQL, Oracle, MS SQL-Server, MySQL
* Graphic Design skills a plus
