Hi Everyone,

I'm working with a facility implementing eMAR/BMV in Magic 5.64 that has a policy that all medications for pediatric patients (under age 10) require a co-signer. They would Really like to continue this practice when we go live. Since co-signature is driven by either eMAR access (the Peds nurses take care of MedSurg patients also) or by the PHA Drug dictionary I'm not sure how we can accomplish this unless we built every drug that COULD be ordered for pediatrics as a duplicate drug entry specific to Peds so that the "Co-Signature for Doc" on page 4 could be set to Yes.

Does anyone have any ideas? Rules? Creative suggestions? Thanks in advance for any suggestions! Carolyn
