Greetings Meditech Users,

We have a new opportunity to share that offers the stability of a full time, regular employee but with the opportunity to travel nationwide to 24 different locations. Our client is based in downtown Chicago but this position could be based from a major city so relocation is not required if you can travel 85-95%.

Ideal Health IT has an immediate need for a well-qualified Meditech Clinical Implementation Specialist who is interested in leading an organization through the migration to electronic medicine and the corresponding changes in business processes and workflow that will result from the same.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Commitment to excellent client service
Possess, or quickly develop a thorough understanding of the Meditech applications, specifically including Order Entry/EMR, Physician Care Manager, Imaging & Therapeutic Services and Laboratory modules
Use understanding of system to train and support the implementation teams in our client’s hospitals nationwide.
Serving as a liaison to our client’s facilities implementing the Meditech Client Server application in multiple locations around the country
Attend training in each of the facilities to support the implementations
Provide ongoing support of the application
Hands-on experience in nursing/nursing management
Information technology experience and/or experience with Meditech is a plus
Incumbents must be flexible and adaptable, possessing great interpersonal skills and able to interact with all levels of the company including corporate staff, hospital personnel and physicians
Successful candidates will be self-starters and possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills (both in person as well as on the telephone) and have a strong desire to learn
Travel 85%-95% of the time
