[MEDITECH-L] Wireless Phone Coverage

I was curious as to what other hospitals are using if you are using
wireless phone systems for the nursing staff. We are currently using
Spectralink but the staff is not happy with the phones. If anyone is
using someone other than Spectralink could you please send me the info
and name of who you are using? I would appreciate any feedback.

We use the Ascom DCT 1900 wireless phone system. This is a wireless
phone system that operates in the 1.9GHz range. It has been very stable
and provides full call, transfer, and conference capability in a hand
held unit. Caller ID is limited to the extension that is calling.
Simple text messaging can be achieved through a third party solution
(Emergin).
