Hello, all. We are Meditech Magic 5.61, a Canadian site in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Our facility uses the Haycock formula for our Meditech BSA (body surface area) calculations; our current MT version gives us a choice in our Customer-defined Parameters between Dubois, Haycock, or "other".
Recently, we have been approached about changing the BSA formula from Haycock, to Mosteller:

Mosteller BSA (m2) = Square Root of [ wt(kg) x ht(cm) divided by 3600 ]

Has anyone been able to plug numbers into the Customer-Defined Parameters BSA Calculation Type fields to get the Mosteller formula to work?

I wanted to ask the L-list first, before attempting to revisit my high school math days! (LOL)

TIA

Richard
