[MT-L] Coding Worklist Sort Options

Hello….

We would like to utilize the coding worklist functionality within Meditech. The list displays with these column headers: patient name, account number, admit date, patient status and med rec number.

In regard to how the list is sorted, Meditech has stated that sort options are very limited. We need the list to sort by patient status and then by specialty of service, but have been unsuccessful. Here is the Meditech response I received:

‘The WORKLIST routine within the Coder Desktop does not use the MAJOR or MINOR sorts selected in the Compiled routine. You can only sort based on the Column headers within the Worklist so it’s a bit limited in sort functionality currently.’

Is anyone else utilizing the coder worklist functionality? If yes, have you found a way to sort by specialty?

We use C/S 5.67
