[MT-L] Split order type and LOA meds

Hello everyone:
Your challenge today is to help us with the following issue in PHA:

We do not use the SPLIT Order Type because we cannot convert them for LOA meds. Meditech told us that they cannot pull from 2 med order lines at the same time...

For example, someone is on 1.5 tablet of a drug and they are going home on pass for the weekend only. We currently have to create 2 med orders and link them in order to convert this order into a LOA order...

All half or partial doses are currently built in our PHA dictionary as MED type with a label of **SPLITTAB**. For eMAR/BMV, staff would have 2 linked orders on their screen...

Has anyone been able to manage this so that they can use the SPLIT order routine properly???
