Thanks to Manoj for sharing this article with this group. AUROC of 0.967 is great. However, this is for discrimination of already known outcomes. For the prediction of unknown outcomes, PPV and NPV should also be high. For prediction, use P-index as the best cut-off and not Youden index. See
