Blue Line Talent is looking for a high performing Sr. Project Engineer/
Manager with expertise in HVAC for a direct hire opportunity in
Wisconsin.

Position: Sr. Project Engineer/Manager - HVAC

The Client: A well established and growing engineering consulting
firm.
• Multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm designs MEP and
control systems for industrial facilities.
• Client base include automotive and off road vehicle manufacturers,
as well as national and university laboratories.
• They are highly involved with R&D facilities for alternate fuel and
emissions testing, engine testing, clean manufacturing, and thermal
chambers.

Responsibilities:
• Design, procurement, construction and commissioning of Industrial
HVAC and Mechanical Systems.
• Working closely with the end user client in development of the
project
• Leading a team that may include, civil, structural, and
architectural engineering, along with MEP designers
• Conceptual design of MEP systems for both new buildings and
retrofits
• Leading the MEP design team in determining HVAC systems, piping, air
systems, gas systems, electrical, controls, etc. for the facility and
equipment
• Specifying the equipment to be installed
• Reviewing the design codes, standards and specification requirements
• Leading team on multiple projects - 4+ may be more depending on the
size of the project
• The position offers both national and international travel
(primarily Europe).

Experience Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years designing mechanical and/or control systems for large
complex facilities - preferably testing or research and development
laboratories
• 5+ years experience leading design teams
• Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks as well as a proven
record of excellent client service.
• Experience designing facilities that house extreme temperatures
(both high and low)
• Strong client contract experience
• Ability to travel to customer facilities for design meetings,
equipment installation supervision and commissioning.
• Must be willing to travel up to 60%, can be less (depending on
projects)
• Stable record of direct employment

Preferred Experience:
• Project management or team management experience
• LEED Certification or willingness to get certified.
• Work experience at a Mechanical Contracting firm desired but not
required.
• Experience with fire suppression, plumbing systems and PLC control
systems would be a plus but not required.
