to Maynard Downtown!!!
Hi all,
The Maynard Farmers' Market opens for the season on June 27. The
market brings many people into town, but could easily bring more.
I've posted a flyer with the childrens' event schedule in the flyer
area. Feel free to print & post if we haven't already posted at your
business as well as send on to your contacts outside of the Maynard
Downtown!!! Google Group.
I hope you can visit, and help spread the word.
Thanks,
Carol Leary
Maynard Community Farmers' Market
Maynard Farmers’ Market Opens this Saturday, June 27
Eat local, see friends and neighbors, find out about local community
groups, and enjoy special events! The 2009 Maynard Community Farmers’
Market begins its fourteenth season on June 27 and will run Saturdays,
9 a.m. -1 p.m., rain or shine, through October 3 in the Main Street
parking lot at Clock Tower Place (near intersection of Sudbury
Street). Returning vendor Rob’s Perennials offers gardeners a wide
variety of freshly dug perennials. Produce and cut flowers are
available from Applefield Farm, Brigham Farm, and Millbrook Farm. You
can pick up meat, chicken, cheese, and eggs from Balance Rock. Get
your morning coffee, as well as beans for home from Karma Coffee. Hill
Street Baked Goods sells cookies to satisfy your sweet tooth and new
vendor Big Sky Bakery will have a wide variety of breads and bake
goods. On June 27, ARRT members will be at the Community Table
answering questions about the rail trail, artist Cynthia Durost will
be painting with the children under the trees, and Anne Marie Babish
will be playing guitar and serenading shoppers.
