IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP WALK THE DOWNTOWN TO GET OTHER BUSINESSES FEEDBACK IF THEY WANT TO PARTICIPATE TO SEE IF THERE IS ENOUGH INTERESTED TO GET THIS THING GOING SOON or help in anyway?

Date? A couple of suggestions (or questions) about having it in Nov or third week in Oct. The 24th.

It may be useful to explain exactly what "This Is" or at least an outline of what the project is and how it can benefit our businesses.

Hi Will, sorry I have been distracted with work and did not get back to you sooner. I do want to participate. I would rather do it in november since I have a lot of commitments on Saturdays for Oct., but I am not available the weekend of Nov. 6-8. Let me know how much I owe and where to send it.

Idea:

How about we ask the good ole Assabet Chamber of Commerce to underwrite the cost of this?

After all, they're charging US money to participate in Maynard Fest and where DOES that money go, anyway?

It is different only to the extent that they occur on different days. My points is that they wnat the merchants to subsidize THEIR event and I think it only fair business they reciprocate.

The bottom line in all this is to promote Downtown Merchants, is it not?

And if you think thinks are slow now, wait til you see how they are when the 24-Hour market opens.

I think it is worth contacting Sarah Cressy at the chamber to see if
they could help in any way.

They might be able to help with publicizing Wellness Day at least. And
they may have members who are health practitioners who would be
interested in participating.
