area calculation in arcgis from maxent

am new in this informatics and would like to know how to calculate area high suitability in ArcMap have results for future and present model outputs in maxent.am stuck pls help

Hi, if u r using Arcgis u cn try the step below:
1.u need to project your raster if not yet defined projection.
2. reclass your raster to binary
3. convert raster to polygon
4.open the table properties aftr convert to polygon. see many polygon. use dissolve (geoprocessing tool) to combine the same class polygon.
5.add column to table. calculate area by right-click the column n compute geographic area.
There u shud get the desired information of the area.

Hello Krishnapn, 

You can go with the fira's comment. However, there is another way to calculate without converting polygons and all.. 
(1.u need to project your raster if not yet defined projection.
2. reclass your raster to binary) 

Then you need to add a column on the attribute table as area > Then you can use calculate area> count * multiplication of cell size (10*10= 100) / unit that you want (for sqkm you need to add 1000000).
