to Matienzo Caves
John Wilcock passed away a few days ago at the age of 86. He spent a short time around Matienzo in July 2011 when he dowsed a number of areas including possible upstream routes from Fuente Aguanaz. None of those postulations have (yet) come to fruition, although he was apparently correct in getting a positive reaction 160m above Suit Wrecker Inlet in Torca la Vaca. It may be worthwhile (re-)visiting those dowsing results in the light of more recent finds and speculations. This page introduces the results from 2011. A screen shot from the QGIS map summarises the results: solid blue, positive results; dashed blue, supposed passage / water; red, no reaction. (http://www.matienzocaves.org.uk/dowsing/Dowsing2011_QGIS.jpg)
