Hi Danielle,

if your forward method is messing up toward the end, that means
the method is unstable. Probably what's happening is that small
numerical errors in the computer is messing things up for you.
If you want to check if your program is producing correct
numbers, you can just check the recurrence relation by a
hand calculator.

I don't understand what you were trying to look up though.
To prove the recurrence relation, you should use integration by
parts.
