Due to the change of venue and the resulting logistical adjustments, the conference venue has been upgraded for 2026 to accommodate a larger scientific program. The new venue allows us to host up to four parallel afternoon sessions in addition to the morning plenary lectures, significantly expanding the number of possible contributions.

Due to this venue upgrade and a minor shift of the conference dates (postponed by one week), the social program will be announced at a later stage. Nevertheless, we strongly encourage all interested participants, once registered, to book their accommodation as early as possible, while prices remain accessible. Rates in Marrakech tend to increase significantly as we approach April, which is a peak tourist season.

This year, we also have access to a large lecture hall that can accommodate up to 400 participants, along with four additional rooms for parallel sessions. We therefore welcome contributions in the form of 30-minute talks.

Regarding on-site logistics, all coffee breaks and lunches will be served directly in front of the main plenary hall, so participants will not need to leave the venue. The fees listed below cover not only all lunches and coffee breaks during the four days of the conference but also the conference materials (conference bag, program & book of abstracts, notepad, pen, badge) as well as additional organizational expenses. The total cost is as follows:

  • € 185 for international participants

  • € 85 for international students

  • 1175 MAD for national colleagues

  • 650 MAD for national students

  • 875 MAD for students who are employed in the public or private sector

Conference Venue

The scientific sessions will now be held at the Cadi Ayyad University Conference Center, located adjacent to both ESAV Marrakech (École Supérieure des Arts Visuels) and the Cadi Ayyad University Club, in the Amerchich district.
This venue offers improved facilities, particularly for hosting multiple afternoon parallel sessions.

Conference Schedule:
The conference will start at 9:00 AM on Monday, April 27, 2026, and will conclude at 12:30 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2026, immediately following the last plenary talk of the morning. A lunch will be served right after.
