W.K. Clifford Prize 2026 --- CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
The W.K. Clifford Prize is an international scientific prize designed to encourage young researchers to compete for excellence in theoretical and applied Clifford algebras, their analysis and geometry. The award consists of a written certificate, one year of online access to two Clifford algebra related journals, a book token worth €150, and a cash award of €1000. The laureate is also offered the opportunity to give the special W.K. Clifford Prize Lecture at Trinity College Cambridge.
The next W. K. Clifford Prize will be awarded at the 14th International Conference on Clifford Algebras and Their Applications in Mathematical Physics (ICCA14) in Erfurt (Germany), September 07 - 11, 2026.
Eligibility
The age limit of the candidates is 35, the 35th birthday not having occurred before the 1st of January, 2026. Applicants should have a PhD degree, or the thesis should have been submitted to the thesis committee before the application deadline. A candidate can only win the prize once.
Nominations
Candidates for the W. K. Clifford Prize may be nominated by anyone, including the candidates themselves, but excluding members of the jury.
Nomination is done by sending a nomination letter to the Secretary (wkcliffor...@gmail.com), together with the candidate’s CV and a description of his or her scientific work and main contributions. In addition, the nominee should arrange for three letters of recommendation (jury members excluded) to be sent directly to the Secretary. The deadline for nominations is November 15, 2025.
