Hello, Massachusetts historians,
I got a request from a graduate student who wants to be in Massachusetts this summer and is seeking an internship at a history museum or historical society. Her resume is available
here.
This is a small bio:
My name is Adelaide Riedesel and I am completing my first year in the History track at the Cooperstown Graduate Program. I graduated from University of Central Florida, majoring in Anthropology with a minor in Intercultural Communication and a certificate
in Anthropology of Global Health. Previously, I was a project archivist for the Historical Society of Palm Beach County in West Palm Beach, Florida where I managed their reorganization efforts in an off-site storage facility.
I am looking for collections management experience working on digitization projects, but also open to registration, grant writing, and administration.
Adelaide's email is on her resume. Reach out to her if you'd like to find out more about whether your needs and her interests align. As for financial compensation, I think it would be extremely helpful, but not strictly necessary.
thanks, everyone!
