They’re changing History all the time! Historical organizations often support schools in their efforts to teach local history and research techniques. The 2018 “New”  Massachusetts Frameworks set in motion large-scale  and long-term changes for that collaboration between history and schools. And more coming down the Pike.  Join Brooke Kessel and Ashley Mackoff of the Needham Public Schools for a Conversation on the Commons to discuss what collaboration between schools and history organizations look like now and how it is changing, how you can support your local schools, and what teachers hope to get from their work with history organizations --  specifically how Investigating History is now part of the elementary schools'  curriculum. What are you now doing in your work with local schools? What is changing? What challenges do the frameworks or the collaborations present you with? What is going really well?
