6/10-6/18 - Giant Swallowtail, Meadow Fritillary, other butterflies from the SW corner of MA

Two days ago (6/16/26) I was quite happy to see a Meadow Fritillary at April Hill in South Egremont, which landed quite close while I was transplanting dahlias. I saw at least three here yesterday (6/17/27) as well.

& a list technically outside of MA but still quite close at Overmountain in Ancramdale, NY: this is an excellent and extensive conservation area that you should absolutely visit if you get the chance!
