A few mid-July butterflies Hardwick/New Braintree

It's been quiet on the butterfly front in our neck of the woods. Nectar sources are increasing, though, and there's been a small uptick in activity since about a week ago.

New Braintree 7/12  MA Central Rail Trail, including hayfields- some unmowed, but could not walk into fields -and wooded edges

1 Cabbage White
1 Great Spangled Fritillary
1 Appalachian Brown
2 Little Wood-Satyr
4 Monarch
1 European Skipper
