I haven't made it out into the field much this year, but am finally back
in town and visited Horn Pond Mountain this afternoon. It clouded over
right after I got there, so numbers were lower than expected. The
surprise was a Horace's Duskywing, which I seldom see. At first sight I
thought Juvenal's, but it is too late in the season for them, and I
eventually got a look at the underside and it lacks the two pale spots
on the hindwing of Juvenal's, so it is definitely a Horace. The other
things I saw were recently reported by others as well.
