Monarchs at Salisbury Beach State Reservation, 9/14/2026

Good evening from Colorado,

My friend John Sullivan just sent me photos of Monarchs clustered in the pines to the left of the entrance to the boat ramp at the reservation. I really miss going to Salisbury at sunrise to see those beautiful butterflies warming their wings in the glow of the sun.

John estimated there were 75+ Monarchs at 5:25pm.
