On Tuesday I went to Sedge Meadow in Wayland in the morning, where I walked through the north as well as south meadows (previously I've only visited the south meadow). It was sunny and about 70 degrees. I saw:
North Meadow:
15 Cabbage White (spotted about a dozen puddling as I exited the area around noon)
1 Silver-spotted Skipper
3 Peck's Skipper
South Meadow:
5 Peck's Skipper
15 Cabbage White
3 American Lady
2 Sulphur (sp)
1 Common Ringlet
4 Monarch
In the afternoon, I went to Breakneck Hill in Southborough and saw:
50+ European Skipper
1 Northern Cloudywing
2 Hobomok Skipper
5 Peck's Skipper
2 Cabbage White
3 Common Ringlet
9 Little Wood Satyr
1 American Lady
