Hi all, Brian asked me to pass this message along to the list:

Hello Massachusetts butterfly enthusiasts. No doubt you have heard about the recently published report detailing a 22% decline in North American butterfly populations between 2000 and 2020. It is startling and a call to action, I believe. I am going to personally reach out to at least 35 people (in honor of MBC's 35th anniversary) and share some ideas with them about how they can help our butterflies. I hope you will find some ways to make things better for butterflies, too. If we don't act now, there will be dire consequences. If we do act now, we can make a significant  positive difference.

To piggyback on Brian's call, I'd like to ask *everyone* here on MassLep to think about what actions they (or anyone) can take to help our butterflies, and post their suggestions in reply to this one as a way to create a resource for anyone who wants to do something that will make a difference.
