Wrapping up the Semester
Maryland Wishes
Thanks to everyone that came to the meeting yesterday and congrats to
the new officers. We have a few messages today regarding 1. Flyer
distribution 2. Soccer tournament, 3. Benefit concert, and 4. KEEN.
1. For those of you that grabbed soccer flyers to hang up, please put
them up as soon as possible. If you have not already put them up,
please wait on the Benefit flyers until next week. Also, invite your
friends to these events (can do so on facebook).
2. If you are interested in helping run the soccer tournament this
Saturday, please let us know when. It will be from 12:30-4:00 (will
probably end early) at the Engineering Fields. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
sign up to play. We need more people! Bother your friends to sign up
on Maryland Wishes Soccer Tournament Facebook event.
3. The Benefit Concert will be on November 21st from 7-10 at Memorial
Chapel. We only need a few people to help set up, but if you really
want to help let us know. What we NEED is for all of you to show
up!... And bring your friends. It is going to be a fantastic night
with 7 great student groups!
4. The Kids Sports event that we are scheduled for will be held on
Sunday, December 6th at Tilden Middle School in the Rockville/Bethesda
area. The orientation will start at 11:30 (we should arrive a few
minutes before), and the session will end at 3 pm. Don't worry about
rides, once we get all the volunteers together we can figure out
carpooling. There are still a few open spots. Here is their website
