I linked an email to a contact in DMI, then in DL3 went in and linked
that note to a task. The task was already linked to a project. I
deleted the note from DL3, but DMI still says "This email is already in
Daylight". How can I tell DMI to unlink the email incase I want to
link it again in the future?

That's a bug that will be fixed in the next version (sorry - no date
yet).
