To all friends of Marble Stage,

I am writing to you today because either you or your company has helped out or been a part of the growth of our community theatre. As most of you know, Marble Stage has recently been given a small studio space in Crestwood which we are able to use. We have been using this space not only for storage, but for rehearsals as well. The other thing that we have started is a “Fairy Tale Theatre Series” in this space. The city only allows us to have 50 people in there at any given time, so this is the perfect way for us to put on some small shows that help introduce younger audiences to the joys of seeing live theatre.

The one problem that we are facing with doing this is the need for seating. We are asking you today if you might be able to loan a few folding chairs to this cause. Our plan, of course, is to buy some of our own chairs, but we just do not have the funds at this time. What we are looking to do is to buy a few chairs each week from what the Fairy Tales bring in until we have our goal of 50 folding chairs.
