Greetings to Marble Stage and Friends of Marble Stage,
This email is to let you know of a couple of very exciting things
that are starting to happen.
As some of you may know we have started a “Fairy Tale Theatre Series”
at Crestwood Mall. This month, we are showing “Twisted Tales of the 3
Little Pigs.” If you are getting this email, we would like to invite
you this week only on March 14 to come see the show for FREE. Yes you
read that right - FREE. Show starts at 12pm. The only thing we ask is
afterward, go get a quick bite to eat and then come join us at our
meeting starting at 2:30.
We will be starting out meeting downstairs in the food court area.
Many things are going to be discussed at the meeting. First off, we
will be having our voting for the new board positions. We will be
talking about the upcoming season and future seasons, the fairy tale
theatre, fundraisers and most importantly about or moving shop over to
the mall. We will also be taking a walk through of our potential space
at the mall.
This space at the mall would allow us to do many things including,
storage room, much needed rehearsal space, as well as a permanent spot
for the “Fairy Tale Theatre” shows. This could also give us the chance
to host classes and even some smaller cabarets and shows, while all
along still saving us on the amount of money that we put out every
year. We are also looking into the idea of helping out some of the
other community theatres that have struggled as we have to find a
cheap and affordable space to use for rehearsals.
So once again please come and join us Saturday, March 14 at 12pm by
Chevy’s Fresh Mex at Crestwood Mall for “Twisted Tales of the 3
Little Pigs,” and then downstairs in the food court for our meeting at
2:30. I have never been so excited about some of the things that are
starting to happen with this company and for what I see in the future.
The “Marble Stage” that we originally performed on may be gone. But
this company is become solid like a rock.
