On the call from Thursday Oct. 2nd, Dr. Dan Fouts spoke on "doctors
and nutrition". He talked about how NUTRITION should be integrated
into their practices. Personally, I was very impressed with Dr. Fouts
simply because he mentioned about having an "Integrational" approach
rather than an "Interventional" approach for Wellness. As I
understand it, he means that instead of using nutrition for
intervention (which means to intercede or act to reconcile when a
person is already sick), using it to integrate it into the health care
ways we already receive. So, integrating it into what we already have
would introduce a "caring" health care synopsis for people where the
doctors would be helpful, understanding and would LISTEN to their
patients instead of rushing them and not hearing their needs.
