ASTRONOMY UPDATES (14 Feb. 2014)

It's been awhile since my last missive... an extremely busy winter.  And now I'm at the airport for the beginning of a month-long journey to Alaska. A very busy month ahead, but I'm sure I'll find time to photograph some swirling colors in the sky--the northern lights. :)  In fact, beginning on Sunday I'll be on the "night shift" for most of the following three weeks.
