This is an introductory class to a series of classes regarding Bookbinding.
In this introductory bookbinding class, students will learn the history of bookbinding, why books look the way they do, the different bookbinding styles and the basics of materials (paper, board, cloth, adhesives). By the end of the class, students will know the parts of a book and how books function. This introductory class is $20 for Non-Members & $5 for Members.
The follow up classes are:
No previous experience in bookbinding is needed. Please RSVP:
