Immigrant status

HI Everyone,

So, we just got an email from MDOE saying that we need to remove the immigrant status from our students that have been 

attending for more than three years.

1- have others received this email request

2- how are you preserving this information for future inquiries?

    - once we remove the immigrant checkbox we lose that data on the student.

Thoughts??

All I can think of is for IC to change the upload report to include only immigrant status if the US School Start date is 

<4 years old....?

I just unchecked the box and moved on, to be honest.  My kid will still show up as such in previous years'
