Is there a report you can run to tell if your teachers have posted their grades?  Or is there a way at all to be able to tell if they have?  Thank you!

You can pick your grading task (like Quarter Grade, or standards) and then check the MIssing Grades option at the bottom.

Is there a way to tell when they last posted their grades though?  Like they post grades every 2 weeks, so we want to make sure they are posted on the day they are due, especially when we have grade reports going out.  Thank you!

I just ran a test of the Grade Book Usage Report (under Grading & Standards - Reports) and it shows the date that the gradebooks were last updated. It shows all the assignments and takes a while to create but it might be helpful. :)

Playing around with it more I did yesterday as the start date and today as the end date and it made the report go from over 400 pages to 22 but I still get a report of when the grade books were updated by the teachers for each class!

Hi,

I think the last modified date is also accessible from AdHoc Reporting.  (I'm basing that on testing it and this documentation here.)

Here are my rough steps (using the new look):

1. Reporting > Ad Hoc Reporting > Filter Designer
2. Filter Type: Query Wizard
   Data Type: Student
   Hit Create.
3. In Grading > Grading Detail choose:
1. CourseName/Course Number
   
2. Teacher Display
3. Task
4. Score
5. Date
   
   
6. 
   
4. Hit Next
5. Set grading.Task to be the task you want.
6. Set grading.date to look for dates less than the date grades are due.
7. 
   
8. Save and Test.

That should get all grades that were last changed before date.  It'll give you one row per student, but since people in general post all of their grades at once, that's probably OK (you can always add in student names if you want or remove the score field and check the 'Output distinct records' on the Output Formatting part of adhoc).
