cartomancy and its origins

I know that the Tarot is one of the main forms of cartomancy, primarly
of italian origin. i was wondering if the Tarot has any relatives, and
if so, where they come from.

My fiancee has some "Native American Cards" that are a Tarot like deck
with Native themes. Some folks I know make their own, such as a tarot of
the Necronomicon or some other heart felt theme. Sometimes I like to
break down a myth to whatever core elements move me, and then make cards
or coins for each element.

How the hell do you make coins?

Well a simple way is to take some coins like quarters and wrap them with
paper, draw on the paper and then tape it up.
