L'alun en magie est bien connu des praticien, fort utilisé dans de
nombreux rituel en afrique du nord notamment, il est un symbole de
PROTECTION. Réputé pour chasser les mauvaises influences et les
mauvaises entités, il est soit porté sur soi ou encore brûlé sur
une pastille de charbon de bois. Dans ce cas on peut encencer une
pièce ou la maison tout entière. Son action protectrice et absorbante
des éléments négatifs lui viennent d'une nature profondement
saturnienne mais ce n'est pas tout : Son utilisation ne date pas
d'hier, il était déjà utilisé à des fin rituelles en Egypte mais
aussi, comme on le constatera encore bien plus tard, dans les arts pour
la fabrication de certains vernis, en artisanat textile et même en
médecine. D'origine minéral, extrait de roche de Bauxite, L'alun est
chimiquement parlant assez complexe et même "instable". C'est un sel

amer, qui donnera également Aluminium, sachant que l'alun est un
sulfate double d'aluminium et de potassium. Certaines source lui donne
aussi une origine indo-européenne signifiant harmonieux. Quoi qu'il en
soit, son utisation traditionnelle ne fait aucun doute et même si en
magie européenne on le connait beaucoup moins il n'en reste pas un des
principaux minéraux de l'arsenal magique de protection.
