Magic Mirror

Anyone have any solid information on Magic Mirrors? How do you make and
use them? What's the "active ingredient" here? (Meaning, how do they
work, what's the principle behind them?) I've read the TOPY description
(http://www.topy.net/magick_mirror.html) which intrigued me, but I
couldn't make heads or tails of it.

Well the magick mirror on that page is FAR from the normal magick
mirrors most folks use.

The normal version really is nothing more than a piece of glass with
one side painted black. You can then mount it in a frame with the
painted side in the back. When you use one you look at the shiny side.

How it works...

First the non-magical explanation.

When your in a dark room lit by flickering candles your imagination
runs wild and when you see the reflections in it you perceive it as
whatever your trying to see.

The magickal explanation.

It allows your subconscious to perceive things on the astral plane.

The real answer is a combination of both. :)

Andrews has a whole volume you can get on all forms of skrying and
Seership.
