Conditions of Verona Quarry and Wingra

Anyone know if the Verona quarry is still swimmable, or is it choked
with weeds?

Wingra was still pretty good last Saturday, but any latest reports?

I don't know about either of those, but the conditions in front of the
Monona Terrace are excellent. A few weeds as you're swimming out, but
very few. And, there's still a no wake rule, so no fear of speed
boats. Though, we did have some tourist types taking pics of us from
the Betty Lou Cruise boat, which got awfully darn close.

Vilas beach is closed now, so Wingra is out.

Looks like we're headed to the Terrace tomorrow. Hopefully there won't be
much traffic!
