Hello,

Working on a new project (Crossfit Gym Management Software) and need to charge a gym's members monthly fee's (Usually 80-300 / mo range).  Would like it to act as a pass-through for their charges since I'm not taking a cut.

I've researched Stripe Connect and didn't like the fee structure (debits and bank payments 3%) and the merchant UX is interrupted by singing into Stripe.

Looking at BalancedPayments.  Have a lot of leg-work to do to manage subscriptions and the proper credit / debit of orders to minimize fees...but better fee's and can do within the UI.

Any other options out there people have used and have had a good result?

Best

Adam

I switched over to PayWhirl w/ Stripe ... dead simple to use and loving it.

I’ve done the integration with balanced payments before. It’s a lot more custom code, but it worked out pretty well. They have some decent-ish example code to get the front-end JS card tokenization going. They also have a concept of an escrow account, which it seems like you don’t need, but that makes the integration a little more tricky. After completing the integration at my last startup, I did pick them again for another project with my current consultancy, if that says anything. Their support in IRC is really really good too, which was always helpful. Though, they *only* do support via irc (maybe email too) but you can’t call them for help, if that matters to you.
