Hello all,
I'm ready to release Macfusion 2 final, it looks like. The last
thing to do was to create a new "shiny site." You can find my current
version here: http://macfusionapp.org/index_dev.html.
As this is my first-ever web design effort, any opinions/advice
would be appreciated. Also, let me know if there's key information
about Macfusion that is missing from the site. Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for your work on this great app.
The new website design is great.

Maybe you could add the MacFUSE version compatible with MacFusion
2.0 ?

Congrats on the release mate, really appreciate it, 'cause I use
macfusion daily.

The website is clean, easy to find the content, but could use a bit
more bling-bling, or that's just me :)

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, the site is pretty devoid of bling. I
believe that would most likely be related to the fact that I'm no
artist. At all. Of course, help from any graphics people would always
be appreciated :)

That's a GOOD thing. Gratuitous AJAX and DHTML get in the way of
people actually using the site. Personally I'd even rather your
screenshots weren't displayed using the "bling"-worthy Lightbox; I
use Command-Shift-Click a lot to open separate tabs, and that won't
work with Lightbox.

That's the risk when you add too much flash and special effects; you
prevent the visitor from using the site as works best for him (which
should be the ultimate goal).

But perhaps I'm extreme...
