Hello all,
The slate selection meeting for the USATF NE 2012 Grand Prix will be at Middlesex Community College, the Bedford Campus in Bedford, MA on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. Directions to the campus are on the website at www.middlesex.mass.edu. Directions tab is on the left hand sidebar. Street address is 591 Springs, Bedford, MA (South Entrance).
Written directions: From Route 3, take the Concord Road exit and follow the Middlesex CC signs (toward Bedford). One sign says "next two lefts," and they mean onto Springs Road and then onto Orchard Street. The entrance is about 1/4 mile down Orchard. If you go past Orchard, you can stay on Springs and you will end up at the South Entrance, take a left into that entrance. If you go too far on Springs, you will pass the VA hospital complex of dozens of buildings. If you come up Routes 4 and 225 from Bedford Center, take a right onto Springs Road and follow it past the VA to Middlesex CC. Both entrances will lead you to a main grouping of brick buildings around a quad with parking lots on either side. Park in any student lot. The meeting is in Henderson Hall, room 213 (second floor). Henderson has signage on the building visible from the North Entrance side and a parking lot across the street in front of it. If only the quad side door is open, walk around the building. There are evening classes, so there should be some activity on campus. From the South Entrance, Henderson is behind the first row of brick buildings, and a huge parking lot in front of the Cataldo and Academic Resource buildings where you can park. Follow any of the paths into the quad and you will see Henderson via its sign out in front of it.
Unfortunately, I have a sudden trip to Washington DC and will not be able to join you for this meeting. The room was reserved by me as I am an employee at Middlesex. Should there be any access problems, Middlesex security's number is 781-280-3539.

Hello everyone,
The presentation meeting is in a week. We hope all of you will be able to make the meeting.
Even more important is to do one final push to get races to submit their bids.
We have a google page for updating whom talked to whom. You can look at who contacted the races, and you can add races and add status.
Email Stephen Peckiconis if you need access. You can also email any of the LDR folks to ask questions.

For information, and for completeness, I am attaching the "rule of engagement" for the LDR GP selection.
This is the 2009 version, and it probably could use some freshening up.
The presentation meeting will be monday, 7 November at 7 pm at Brandies, the same place as the last 20 years.
The selection meeting will be Thursday, 10 Nov at middlesex CC, henderson hall rm 213 7pm middlesex rt 3 bedford Exit xx, Concord rd. head west. Lots of parking.
